PROPOSITION of the 6th International Youth Hockey Tournament

LEKOV CUP 2012
April 6 to 9, 2012

General Provisions:

Organized by: Games 2018 Civil Association

Dates: April 6th – 9th 2012

Location: City of Plzen, Czech Republic

Age Category: Midget Minor teams (players born 1997 and 1996) must apply on December 31st 2011 latest. Maximum number of players in the team is 22 (20 skaters and 2 goalies). If the team is consisted from players coming from different home clubs/teams the official name of the team must include the word “Select”.

Rules and Regulations: Each team will play a minimum of 7 games.

The games will be play in accordance with international ice hockey rules for this age category and the tournament rules announced on February 28th latest.

All games will be three 18 minutes periods

Applications: Application forms (see enclosure) are to be mailed to the address: Zdeněk Hůrka, Hodonínská 37, 323 00 Plzeň, Czech Republic or e-mailed to the address: z.hurka@volny.cz.

Based on the received application the roster forms and fee payment directions will be mailed/e-mailed by return.


Application deadline is December 31st 2011.

Tournament Fee: Tournament fee is 10 000 Czech crowns (400 EUR, 600 USD) per a team, payable on December 31st 2011 latest. Payment of the tournament fee on time is mandatory for the team to be accepted to the tournament. The tournament fee does not include the costs either for transport, accommodation or boarding.

Accommodation

Boarding: Individual teams pay up accommodation and boarding at their own expenses. Full board is ensured for the team members. Teams will stay at 4-Stars hotels in city of Plzen. Price of special tournament package is 950 Czech crowns (38 EURO, 57 USD) per team member per day. There could be slight changes in the tournament package price based on expected changes of tax law in the Czech Republic. Special tournament package includes accommodation, full board and bus transportation from the hotel to the rink and back.

Transportation: Transportation between the hotels and the rinks is secured by tournament organizer.


Tournament Schedule:

Thursday April 5th – Teams arrival, dinner, opening ceremony, team managers meeting

Friday April 6th – Sunday April 8th – Round Robin games

Sunday April 8th – Monday April 9th – Play Offs

Sunday April 9th – Championship game
