Mayor of the City of Pilsen

I am honoured that I am given the privilege of welcoming such a momentous hockey holiday here in Pilsen that the second year of the Lekov Cup 2008 International Youth Tourney has become without a doubt. The city of Pilsen is participating financially on the tourney’s preparation by organizing it under the city’s auspices. I trust that the meeting of young hockey players from the world over will bring its participants many sports remembrances and experiences and will be at the same time an opportunity to establish new friendly relationships.
My wishes of much success is aimed at the organizers as well as at the participants of the tourney so I wish the hockey fans a very pleasant sports experience and may you spend many a pleasant times in our city.
